Do ACT scores affect recruitment?

I noticed you have to put your ACT score when registering for recruitment; does this have any affect on recruitment?

No, they’ll really only look at your GPA. I was a grade risk but had great SAT scores and no one cared.

I was never told the ACT score of the women I was recruiting. Maybe it matters for scholarships once you’re in the sorority.
