This is about the RETENTION RATE which means how many PNMs ask for this house back. So For example, kappa is number 1 on this and they had a near 100% retention rate which means almost if not every girl going through last year asked for them back. The list goes down based on how many PNMs asked for these houses back
#3by: Confidential
Retention can be classified in two ways. 1) your RIS (recruitment interest score) that is what tells a chapter what percentage they matched with an PNM that wanted them back, or as some classify it as “retention” 2) retention in membership after a pnm becomes a new member (on bid day).
However, RIS is typically confidential to only those in PHA and the advisors of each chapter following recruitment. With chapters only finding out how many women each house took, so there is no validation in a stat that can’t be proven. These scores mean nothing more about a chapter’s standing in the recruitment process. Its a balance of numbers and algorithms that help chapters understand how interest PNMs were in them and if the chapter was mutually asking for the same girls.
