what's up with kappa delta?

by:

I'm looking to rush next! My mom was a Kappa Delta and I want to be one too but I don't know if I should anymore?! I heard some rumors about Kappa Delta and how they are getting frats in trouble and their rep seems to be hurting. Is this all true?

Kappa Delta is just kind of there. Middle tier. Not a sorority you shoot to be in, you settle for them when Kappa, GPhi, Pi Phi and Chi O cut you. They've never had a great reputation, getting the frats in trouble just adds to that.

They really screwed SAE over this year with the whole homecoming thing. I'm not saying it was all KDs fault but they definitely went out of their way to screw over SAE.

DON'T DO IT. They're all crazy compulsive liars who love starting drama. And one of the girls I know in kappa delta is really freaking annoying and can't shut up about kd which is funny because If I were her I would be embarrassed to say I was in that house

Unfortunately it's true. But you shouldn't base what house you want to join on legacies. Your mom probably had the time of her life in kappa delta but that was years ago obviously and houses can change dramatically over time. I wanted to be in AXO when I rushed last year because my aunt was in it but I did not click with the girls at all. It just wasn't the house for me.

If you want a good rush, you'll either be a Pi Pho, GPhi, or a Kappa Kappa Gamma. Going for Kappa Delta is like going for a 70% on a test.
