transferring/ rushing as a sophomore

hey so i’m going to transfer to ku in the spring of my freshman year so should i wait until my sophomore year to rush/ is there a stereotype against sophomores who rush?

as far as I’m aware there isn’t a stigma with rushing as a sophomore, if anything I almost feel like it gives you an advantage. I would say go for it, chapters are always looking to welcome sophomores into their PCs :)

I cannot say this enough but sophomores make up the biggest class recruiting women into houses due to internships and jobs so you’ll likely have more in common with them. The week itself is challenging and tiring but it’s worth it to find a chapter you love and friends you’ll have for life! Not to mention the support and resources!
