Rushing axo????

I went through recruitment last fall and stayed with them up until pref day.

The reason I didn’t choose them was because I was getting dirty rushed every day of the week and it made me uncomfortable and I knew other girls who dropped them for the same reason. They got into trouble with Panhellenic during recruitment (dirty rushing, promisory comments, talking badly of other houses/why you should keep them, there was an issue with a recruitment counselor) and I believe they had to go on social probation for a little bit. There are also hazing rumors, no idea if that’s true.

My advice would be to go in with an open mind, but also be aware and educated.

do you like AXO because of social media and "likes" or because of genuine friendships you already have with women in the house?

Axo is doing better than before but they are still not a top tier house, I’d shoot higher if you can. They have the lowest grades on campus and are trying to social climb.

I heard of them doing a lot of dirty rushing, even my friends in that sorority would talk about it. Not something you really want in a chapter, having to dirty rush all the girls you get, but some people don’t care. It all depends on who you talk with during rush week, so I’m not sure how you are “really liking” them if it’s not just based off of social media

i like a lot of the girls in the house, but i even hear them talk badly about the other girls in the house and what is going wrong all the time. not a good look

i would keep an open mind. i wanted to rush one srat and I kept them all through recruitment and then realized i didn't even like them that much just that I had liked the before. on the other hand, AXO is okay, but some of the girls are weird. usually party though if that's what you want
