Do sororities haze???

This is so not true??!!!

Pi phi did not make them sit on washing machines, but they did get in trouble with J-board for videos of wrestling that their sophs had to do during work week but they explained it was a ritual fashion show

Some are rumored to, and this is confirmed by girls in the house. Others definitely do not. Go in with an open mind and you will find people like yourself, so if you're not looking to get hazed, you'll find the place.

Pi Phi has had a lot of rumors that they haze and some seem like they are true.
Idk if G Phi hazes but they did get in trouble for having vodka shots at bid day (very much against the rules)
I have heard some things about Kappa but nothing that sounds that real. I have heard from a lot of people that they have all the new members stay the night at the house and drink the night before their initiation.
Panhellenic does really crack down on it and they have a place where you can post an anonymous complaint about hazing. A way they do this is that before new members are initiated they can't be forced to do anything (go to events, etc.) My friend's chapter could not require their new members to camp for basketball games like the other members of the group who were initiated.
It depends on the chapter. Ask about it during recruitment and sometimes you can tell just by the reaction of the person you are talking to.

Sororities at KU absolutely do NOT haze. Every story you think you have heard is blown way out of proportion to make another chapter look bad. Our panhellenic would not stand for anything in regards to hazing, even the smallest act of hazing would result in the chapter being kicked off campus. Everyone on this thread trying to scare the incoming freshman or sway their views on specific houses needs to grow up. They will still want join regardless of the rumors.
