by: CuriousIf you went to a private school in a big city from another state and have a good résumé/personality, but don't have any connections at KU, what're your chances of getting in a good house?

I rushed this year without any KU links whatsoever. Came in totally blind. I honestly didn't even know which houses were which. I had lots of highschool involvement and a great GPA. Rush is kinda the time to be proud of who you are and what you've done. While some houses may not be as open to rando's, it would be silly for them to turn away an amazing girl. I ended up top tier and have met so many great friends even though so many of them were from the same area.
