To all the girls who didn't get into a house don't fret. My daughter is in sorority at KU. She rushed 2 years ago and was also devastated at how it went. She was dropped by all the houses she wanted. She quit on the last day. A couple of weeks later several houses were still looking for girls so she went to some casual parties. She pledged to one house. It wasn't her first choice but she's been very happy with it. So the bottom line is to keep in touch with the houses and maybe some houses will be looking for girls in the next few weeks.

This process works if PNM's have an open mind and an open heart. The vast majority of the time, women release THEMSELVES from the process because they didn't get invitations to their favorites.

Greek life is awesome at KU...and all 13 chapters have wonderful things to offer. Recruitment is hard...it is one of the first experience for young people these days that is humbling and everyone doesn't get what they think that they want/deserve. Do women want to be Greek or an XYZ? That is the question.

By the way...only 4 chapter took over 55% of Kansas women in their new member classes. KU has 65% of students from in state and 35% out of state.
