How much money you have - or don't have - isn't the determining factor in how a sorority recruits new members! You want to look your best during recruitment, but nobody is going to be checking your labels at the door. Don't reduce recruitment to "how you look" as the key to getting into a top tier house. Your personality is the most important part of recruitment! Believe me, a sorority is more concerned with what you can contribute to the chapter in terms of academics, leadership, commitment, and sisterhood than how much money you have and if you look "pretty." And relax about which houses are "top tier." You are looking for sisters, not what letters are on the front of the house. If you try to make yourself into something you aren't, you won't find the chapter for you. Good luck!

They have your address, and many of the "top" houses will do their research on people they don't know as well... including to google map searches of your home, this gives them a good idea of how you will fit in.
