lame but i always wondered..
by: Lame?How do the parties work in the greek system, at ku specifically? I mean are the actual parties which aren't official mixers thrown at the chapter house, or are they off campus? I've never been clear on how it works. Another question.. whats the main difference between parties and mixers?

The parties and mixers are done at fraternity houses. For semi formals and formals, a pregame takes place at the fraternities and then the houses provide transportation to get to a specific venue. Sometimes mixers will have venues, but the regular parties happen on campus at the frats. :)
