hey guess what... it really doesn't matter. each chapter is unique and has great girls. you'll for sure find the chapter you're supposed to be in. don't put so much pressure on being in a top house because it'll be a fake connection and you won't be happy.

People have different definitions for why a house is considered “top”. Whether it be for grades, popularity, house location/quality, etc. In no order, the top houses are known to be: Chi Omega, Pi Beta Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Kappa Kappa Gamma. Any person in any of these houses is going to argue their house is top. It depends on how you get along with the girls in each house and if their stereotype/vibe fits yours. Do your research beforehand and go into recruitment with an open mind. If you choose not to, you’re guaranteed to come out of recruitment dissatisfied.
