greek life is cult-like
by: WinchesterGot out of Greek life a while ago. I can't understand why any girl/guy would subject themselves to this. Don't do it.

sorority recruitment - seen from the sophomore side - was terrible - all the ranking of women, picking them apart by looks, social media presence, "hotness,"; the fakeness of standing and clapping for legacies when they would come on the powerpoint - it was just so bad.

You know what, all this is silly. I'm in a top house and wish I had pledged a middle one. My pledge class is vain, parties at the expense of education, too obsessed with the right Instagram picture, clothing, vacations, etc. I have made more friends on a so-called "middle house" - girls who know how to have fun but are planning futures beyond the next free beer. So it is all relative to what you want out of life; and each ranker will rank on different qualities; and honestly - who cares. Live your life.
