formal recruitment

I’m going through formal recruitment this year. Have a 4.0 high school GPA but coming from out of state so don’t know any house members and not a legacy. Is it all about who you know or will my GPA keep me in the running?

Your gpa will keep you in the running, and most sororitys seek to add a bit of geographic diversity-still important to "look the part" though at the more exclusive houses

Still try to get recommendations though. Plenty of girls have good enough grades at the end of the day. You want to stand out to the houses
