All depend on grades and who you know! If you don’t have the grades (houses like chi o and theta have really high cutoffs) you’re mostly automatically cut. I’m other houses, you could have the grades and get past the first round or two, but if you don’t know anyone, you have a good chance of getting cut if you didn’t make a lasting impression. Recommendations are everything!! Most houses take around a 3.2 or higher, and if a house really wants you, they’ll take you as a “grade risk” so there’s nothing to really worry about if you don’t have exactly a 3.2!

I knew a girl who didn't have a high enough high school GPA to even qualify for recruitment, so she sat out freshman year but rushed as a sophomore and her friends got her in her first choice of house even though she was an EXTREME grade risk, she never even made honor roll in 4 years. If that doesn't prove it's WHO you know Idk what does.
