need honesty
by: FreshmanI was given a bid to AGD and now don't have a sorority. I decided to wait until either Spring Informal or Formal Rush next Fall to try joining again, but I am really confused about all the hate towards certain houses. What should I do to make myself more appealing to chapters like Pi Phi, KD, KKG, etc?

I'm not sure why you'd say such a thing, KD is a very good house. She's obviously wanting to get in a decent house and would love to be a part of Greek life at KU. However, there are a lot of girls in your situation right now and only a small number of openings. The few houses you listed don't normally do COR but might do spring. Just keep your ears open and contact the houses you're interested in. Don't be a try hard hard. Just be yourself.

Please don't be confused by all the hate on houses here. Step away from reading this site into the real world and forget all the nasty talk written here.
You must remain true to yourself and a be genuine YOU to win friends and influence people at every level of living. Sorority recruitment may not have been as successful this Fall for you as for others, but time will heal and remove those scars so you may try again next time. Best of luck!
