If you make it through first cut with a 2.9 GPA does that mean my grades are acceptable?

Usually yes, unless there is a lot of people with lower gpas. But most houses do grade cuts first

It means you've probs survived grade cuts but you might still be cut later for other reasons or that they like u and someone else the same amount and the other girl has a higher gpa so they take her
