how are first cuts determined ?

I am out of state , Chicago, affluent suburb. I am pretty and outgoing. How do they make cuts?

Grades, connections, and sometimes recs (if they don't know you and you are plain Jane, bye bye). All girls going through are middle class. Being from a rich suburb doesn't get you anything extra. What you need to realize is that a top girl from Topeka or Wichita always has more connections than Lake Forest
