I am a sophomore wanting to rush this year. I have a 2.75 freshman gpa. Do you think I will get in a house? If I have a reason for my gpa being low is there a way to explain this?

Hi! this was my same exact situation last year - the only houses that wont drop u for grades are SDT and AGD maybe adpi with that GPA! I wouldn't waste your money just to end up dropping the long process:( Informal is a better bet if you can raise your GPA!

I have similar grades. Is there any way for others sororities? I am also a legacy and have many recs for others. Also a sophomore. what are my chances of getting into a sorority if I maximize my options during rush?

Unless you know someone on exec very well, youre not getting in to any houses with that GPA range, im sorry... AGD and depending on numbers adpi and sdt may invite you back but more desirable houses will drop you after the first and second rounds.

and also they wont care about your reasons. my gpa when i transfer rushed was a 2.75 but my first semester at ku I ended with a 3.8....
