parents?

by:

Do houses ask what your parents do for a living? Will they drop you if your dad has an "undesirable" job? Which houses? What if one of your parents works for the university? What if your parents are KU alumni but weren't Greek?

I dont know who you are, but clearly you are all over this website asking about money, parents jobs, "desirable" suburbs. JUST STOP. If you dont have a lot of money or your parents dont have a good job or you aren't from a wealthy suburb, THATS FINE!!!! If a house actually asks you about any of that (WHICH NOT ONE HOUSE ASKED ME ANY QUESTION LIKE THAT THE WHOLE RUSH WEEK), just know that they probably aren't the house for you. The sorority you choose should choose you for YOU!

Also remember, you aren't your parents!! THIS IS KU, you're not trying to get into an old row house at an SEC school. girls dont actually care about your parents/money as much as people make it seem on here

The only house that asked me was pi phi! No one else did, so don't worry about it

That is such a lie just to try to make pi phi look bad. Shame

pi phi does enough things to make themselves look bad. The fact they ask what your parents do for a living doesn't change anything

No, of course not. Why would that make any difference anyway?

They may not flat out ask what your parents do for a living, but they can tell if you come from money by where you're from, your clothes, your car, what dorm you live in, all these things are used to determine if you're good enough for them
