will i get cut with a 2.9 gpa?

by:    

having a 2.9 GPA because of awful grades in the past (freshman year), and good grades junior and senior year, will i get cut from most sororities? if not all. junior and senior year I had 3.4's. I am also out of state and will have no connections. I can get really good letter of recs, but i'm really nervous.
