rec letters

Which houses require letters of recommendation? I'm going to be rushing this fall and don't want to get there and have no chance because I didn't send a letter to the house I want to get in to.

no house requires letters but they help set you apart if you don't know anyone in a house that traditionally takes many in state women

Letters are basically worthless. The girls don't read them. All they care about is who you know. Don't kid yourself.

If you dont have the best grades or involvement you might want to. They can help in that way but in no way are they required.
