sorority rushing

I am transferring next fall and I will be a Junior. Is it worth rushing as a Junior? also, do the sororities do recommendation letters?

Yes it is definitely worth it. I rushed as a soph and it was no big deal at all

The sororitys at UIC are so not picky they don't need rec letters. Have you SEEN the hags they let into AST? Ever since fall 2015 pledge class they've been downhill. So no sweetie you don't need a rec but you'd probably wanna reconsider rushing bc I wouldn't wanna associate with most of the girls in UIC Greek life.

Definitely go out to recruitment. Go in with an open mind and meet the girls. If you don't find something you think is your home, don't join. There's never any pressure to stay if it's not the right fit for you. But definitely don't rule it out before going through recruitment!

i was in a sorority and its a waste of time and money. you will have no free time to yourself and they take $300 each semester from you and you get nothing from it.
