sorority recruitment size/chapter
by: VTQs
I heard that each chapter is being asked to take in more girls than the past few years because of the larger population of girls looking to rush. Does anyone know what the bid size may be that each chapter (on average) would extend to? Also does anyone know an estimate of how many girls are rushing this spring?

You don't really "drop" a sorority. In your example, if ABCDEF all dropped you, and GHI all extended you an invitation, you go back to the GHI parties. Because of the process of choosing colleges you're used to looking for "top," but all the sororities here are actually very similar. Find the group you love. And whether you're minority or not, keeping a "lower tier" group that you like on the list is a good strategy. Think about what you want from sorority membership. Women who are going through just to get in a "top" group to prop up their sense of themselves usually end up disappointed.

Sadly a lot of girls will end up dropping due to not getting certain houses back. Some chapters are expecting about 80 or so girls in their new pledge class but that all depends. But like I said girls drop and if its at 1200 now there's big chances it will go down by the end
