rushing delta gamma

I am a legacy to DG because my mom was a DG sister and I am curious to see how much weight that puts in my favor in rushing process?

it will get you through a few of the rounds, and give you more consideration, but it is not a given that you will get in just because you are a legacy. DG is one of the more selective houses so hopefully it will help, but go with the house that makes you fell most comfortable. Good luck!

Different sororities treat legacies differently. I am not in DG but know they don't always give bids to all of their legacies.

a legacy doesnt always help in the top tier sororities. I know my roommate freshman year was a DG legacy (her sister was a DG at a different school) and she got dropped before the pref round.

I heard that DG still didn't take all of their legacies even with the probation thing hanging over them - my guess is they will take even less now that their restrictions are being lifted. That being said, go with the house you like best, legacy or not. You want to end up where you feel most comfortable.
