'bottom tier'
by: Vt Greek alumFor any/all Pnms that got bids to 'lower or bottom tier' houses and are upset, I've been where you are. I cried-a lot-when I got my bid, but thanks to my rg, I went to bid day. During my four years, I found a girl I adored who became my big and her other little (my twin-who my mom called the 'ultimate Barbie' and couldn't imagine being in a lower sorority,) almost instantly became one of my best friends. I got to my pledge class, got involved in activities, and found that there were many fun, attractive, smart and supportive girls in our sisterhood who were there for me at my worst and also helped me be my best. Now, I'm an alum of that sorority and I couldn't be prouder and happier with my decision. These girls are still some of my best friends and even though we are spread across the us with husbands, kids, jobs, etc. our friendships are as strong as ever. They are my beautiful sisters, inside and out. I'm not saying you can't get this in a 'top tier' sorority, just saying that if I hadn't gone to bid day and given my sorority a chance just because they weren't top tier, I would have missed out on so much both in my four years and thus far in my lifetime-don't let opinions that really don't matter or a silly site (sorry gr) stop you from some of the best times in your life and greatest friends you could imagine...pan love to all vt chapters...
