Each chapter that does it is different with different start/end times. Reach out to the membership officer of the chapter(s) you're interested in and let them know so they can add you to their contact list.

Only some sororities do informal in Spring. Reach out to their membership chair and see if they're doing it. They're all so nice and will give you good info

The sororities haven’t been told if they’re doing informal yet. They have to get some final numbers.

Basically a sorority does informal when their chapter total hasn’t met the Panhellenic requirement. This is NOT based solely on formal recruitment. A chapter could've had a lot of seniors graduate early or something and their total membership might’ve fallen. So it takes like a week after recruitment and everybody accepts it their bids to organize informal recruitment. Keep an eye out on sororities instas, they’ll usually post if they’re doing informal or not.

If you’re interested, reach out to the membership chair. Or anybody you know in the sorority. You can even reach out to your rho gams and ask them about informal- you can still rely on them even after formal recruitment ends.

Hope this helps!
