thoughts on kkg??

I can't speak to Theta but one of my kappa friends told me that there are always stories of pc alumn getting together years out of college and making specific trips just to see each other- they are that close. I'm sure theta has stories like that too but you can tell kappa is very proud of keeping those ties for years even after kids, jobs, distance,etc.

Hey there! Fellow KKG alum checking in (in my late 20s). Our alumni network is awesome! I regularly get sisters messaging me saying that they’re passing through town and want to meet up! Heck we host Zeta Mu specific events in dc - we had a giant brunch where basically the entire chapter of pledge classes from 2008-2012 attended and it was absolutely incredible to see all of my ladies again. KKG Zeta Mu chapter is absolutely for life through tears and through laughter.
Also want to say to my KKG girls how immensely proud of y’all we all are! It’s incredible to see that you still recruit based on who you think embodies a kappa and will fit in with the group.

I'm an alumna of Kappa and can confirm this. I am 40ish years old and still get together with members from my pledge class for at least a weekend each year. We drop everything to support our sisters, their children, and their spouses/partners through the "tears and the laughter". I can't count the number of times I've received a "hey, I'm in your area, can I swing by and do lunch/dinner to catch up?" I wouldn't trade my experiences with the KKG ladies for anything and still love them dearly. I am not knocking the ladies of Theta because there were wonderful women in that chapter when I was there, too (they were reestablished after I left college), but wanted to share my experience!
