What are the chances of being dropped from my top house after sisterhood round? The girls said they loved me and everything so im confident, but do most people get cut before pref? Thanks

I got dropped after sisterhood and the girl loved me and we were vibing and I was honestly devastated. But I took a chance and accepted a bid from another chapter and loved it. My advice, take the bid and you can always drop after a month

Thanks for telling me. It does make me pretty scared now to hear that considering i’m not a HUGE fan of the others the way I am of this chapter, but I’ll try to go in with a positive attitude.

This happened to me last year and at the time, ngl it sucked. I ended up running home to my next top choice and love my chapter so so much. I suggest doing similar to what this post says, give them at least two weeks and if at the end of that you still aren't feeling it, then drop. But if you're thinking about dropping, please don't stay up until big/lit week.

Bid promising means absolutely nothing, you can still get dropped hun

No, they did not bid promise. I’m also pretty sure that’s not allowed ahah.

It can and does happen a lot. They probably do like you a lot but they can only ask so many girls back to pref and it depends if the girls higher than you on their list drop this sorority or not. Good luck

So it’s pretty common? Eek that scares me a bit, but I’ll stay positive.

Dang I feel like these comments are a little negative! The reality is, if you’re getting dropped at this point chances are there’s an actual reason why. I honestly doubt that if they’re calling you back and telling you they love you they will drop you, unless there’s a SUPER high demand (top tiers). If your number one is not a top tier I would relax a bit more, as lower tiers will truly only drop out of necessity. Good luck girly.
