Nahhh we both know that is not right. If it is something that has violated the chapter’s national policy let’s say getting caught drinking in your chapter house you most DEFINITELY can’t do date parties and socials. That is how DZ was kicked off and Theta is still a new chapter and is being watched closely. Depending on the punishment that their nationals will decide on, it is super likely that there will be nothing like that and probably even through next year! But let’s not lie to PNMs, 1k a year is a lot to spend on something you won’t get full use of. Says a lot about your sisterhood that someone ratted on their own chapter :/

You can still have date parties and socials on probation this isn’t lying to PNMs....whoever you are YOU need to chill and stop spreading false information about other chapters!!!

No the comment about nationals is correct, but they are on probation with tech which is so much worse than with nationals.

Theta has already been given their punishment by national headquarters and tech and is still allowed to hold events....maybe stop spreading false information to pnms that you know nothing about

Nah that post is right. Talking from FIRST HAND experience being on probation from nationals and Tech yeah that’s how it works. The chapter loses social privileges. And depending on the full offense if it goes to student conduct than it’s even a bigger deal. Tech is trying to get rid of Greek life, it sucks that you guys got caught.

there’s literally no social consequences from nationals or the school so they can still have socials and date parties. worry about your own chapter bc clearly somethings wrong if you have to keep coming here to spread rumors about theta

You guys realize probations can have different set of rules right? It is fully possible for Theta to be able to still have social privileges. Idk whether they can or can’t, but it is definitely possible. Please stop spreading false info about chapters during recruitment.

Be really careful about throwing that word around, saying that can get chapters into serious trouble. Hazing is something that is not taken lightly here with fsl or chapters. Allegations can get chapters kicked permanently off
