Rushing as a POC

Hi guys recruitment is in like a week and I’m really nervous becuz I keep seeing things on here about being cautious of rushing as a POC. I understand that everyone’s experiences in sorority life are different so I would appreciate some varying perspectives before I potentially waste my time... thx

Rushing as a poc is definitely challenging...if you really want to make it into a good (top tier bc all of them are great!) sorority you basically have to “act white” imo.

This is p accurate from my experience. The poc I've met in "top" chapters seem to have been white washed. Like idk if they're being told to bleach their hair and get fake tans regardless of being women of color, but it's unsettling to think that they're being pushed into a mold.
