Genuine sororities

Genuinely up to your interpretation. You may genuinely like the girls in one srat where someone else may hate them. It’s kind of hard to say who the “nicest” are without implying that the others are less nice, which isn’t true.

None of the top tier sororities, unfortunately. They are the worst for this behavior. True friendships are best found in middle and bottom tier srats.

From my own experience, the girls that I have found to be the friendliest are from AXO, ADPi, KKG, XO and Pi Phi! I know girls in all of these srats really well and they constantly welcome me with open arms :) This is NOT to say that these srats don't have drama. Whenever you put 100+ girls in an org, there is drama. That kind of comes with the territory, unfortunately. Looking at drop rates is a pretty good way of finding out which ones are happiest, though keep in mind that dropping could also be due to financial issues. For instance, APhi I heard had a really high drop rate this year. This I could see being because of underdeveloped sisterhood, OR because of their absurdly high dues ($1500 new member fee). Also heard that DG has a high drop rate, but again this is all whispered through the grapevine. Trust your gut!! I did and ended up with some of the sweetest girls in panhell :,)

Honestly there are great girls in every sorority! Personally, my favorites are in DDD, AXO, ADPi, KD and SK. You will be happy wherever you feel the girls are genuine and welcoming.

Your chances of finding true friends in “higher up sororities” are slim. Know that ppl are much more real and genuine in middle-bottom

I’m in a “top tier” sorority and love my sisters, but there is ALWAYS drama. I wouldn’t say my sisters are mean or rude, but they are a bit cliquey. If you’re looking to find friends and don’t believe the clique mentality, or drama is an environment you want to be in, I would recommend: AXO, SK, ADPi, GPhi, Pi Phi, Theta, KKG, and (potentially) Chi O. I don’t have many friends in ChiO, but the ones that I do have sometimes complain about not fitting in (that doesn’t mean they are bad people though!). So it’s up to you, but that is my take as someone who is in a sorority that is often called “rude”.
