is it hard to rush as a sophomore?

Hey guys I didn’t rush last year for various reasons but was wondering how hard it is to rush as a sophomore??? Will my options be limited or anything like that? I have a 3.5 GPA which I think is pretty good so hopefully that helps

It doesn't help & would have been better if you had rushed earlier but it's not the end of the world. Just bear in mind that it kinda sorta would be too late to rush anytime beyond this Spring 2021. Good luck, have fun, be yourself, and find where you best fit

your options won’t be limited bc of your GPA but it might be bc of upperclassmen quota! certain chapters can only take a certain amount of upperclassmen for logistics reasons so if you get released from a house don’t take it personally, it’s just a numbers thing.

If you:
-Rushed last year
-Aren’t an “outgoing” personality
-Don’t know what to ask/avoid
-Don’t have good grades

...it will be more difficult. You need to be EXTRA prepared, and be ready to answer why you didn’t rush/get a bid before!

Also, idk about every chapter, but mine only really looks at your last semester gpa. So if you had a 4.0 two semesters and then a 2.0 this semester, it could definitely hurt you.
