How much does being a legacy actually mean when it comes to rushing a sorority?

Depends on the chapter. Some have rules set by headquarters that require them to keep legacies or at least make it very difficult to drop them. Others it may help you first round, but you still need to make an impression on your own.

Some houses are guaranteed bid and some just get you a certain round
