hazing here at vt

What’s the hazing like here? My older brother went to a school in upstate New York and his hazing was very real, intense, and like torture lol, was wondering if it is similar to that caliber here or if it is mostly just time consuming And exercising and less getting beat up

Depends of the fraternity really. Some just have information that you have to memorize and get called to take tests at all hours of the day. Others will leave pledges in a dark basement with music blasting and they have to finish some ridiculous amount of alcohol.

Honestly, I’ve never heard of any of the frats here doing anything that intense. It’s mostly just like doing errands or memorizing stuff. I’m sure there’s drinking too but never to the point where you’re actually in danger because nobody wants anything to happen here like what’s happened at other schools. Just not worth it.
