I wanna live in a sorority house next year but im not even in a chapter yet.. does anyone wanna say how it works bc I dont wanna get screwed over with housing next year

Very few girls live in sorority houses as sophomores. Most everyone that lives in one is a junior. Go ahead and get an apartment then once you’re in a chapter you can live there Junior yr.

or you could take a juniors place in the house that doesn’t wanna live there!! you could 100% live there as a sophomore

With most chapters you will have the opportunity to live in the house as a sophomore! When you join you can ask your pledge mom about it (it’s even something you could potentially talk about during recruitment if they ask about living in the house). And if you change your mind there will be plenty of people looking for an extra person for their apartment for the next year so you don’t have to feel pressured to sign a lease in October.

VT’s sorority housing sucks. For the size of this school you’d think there would be really houses not these project looking duplex things.

if you want to live in the house sophomore year, there WILL be space. you can wait till second semester, i don’t think it will be a biggie.
