by: VTVirginia Tech is trying to further extend and develop its campus. The entire Oak Lane community offers priceless real estate, that could be used for more academic buildings and dormitories. With this in mind, Virginia Tech is trying to shutdown Greeklife, first by kicking all fraternities off campus, therefore leaving sororities pointless and unable to function. The entire Oak Lane area, would be free for VT to develop and extend the campus into that location, with no remaining Greek organizations.
