gpa cut off

My guess is a 3.0. If your not pulling above that GPA you should be focusing more on grades and not rushing a sorority which will only distract you from school, lowering your GPA even more

^^^^^ some sororities prioritize academics more than others too. however, the average gpa for each chapter does influence who gets first pick for bid day, shirts, etc, so it makes you look better if you have a solid GPA. you can find the average GPA for each chapter (in addition to the overall gpa rankings for panhellenic) and that will give you an idea of which chapter may/may not prioritize your GPA. Also you’re probably going to get a book that has the required GPAs listed for each chapter for each member/pnm when you come back to campus the Sunday of recruitment. good luck w recruitment
