living in houses
by: freshmanSomeone told me that for a sorority you have to live in the house for a year? Is this true? And if so, can I live there my sophomore year since we rush later. Just curious since I’m supposed to be looking for apartments

It depends on the sorority, but yes, a majority of the sororities require that you live in the house for 1 year. The requirements are different for each one. Typically, you wouldn’t live in the house until your junior year. Another thing is a lot of times, girls may volunteer to live in the house so you may not even be pulled to live in your sorority’s house! But like I said, the requirements are different for each one and so is the selection process to decide which girls will be pulled to live in the house. Hope this helps!
