recommendations?

Do people get recommendations for sororities here? Does it help? Or is that not a thing?

I came to VT from the south where you have to have recs to even have a chance in rush. Went into rush with at least two recs for every house. Didn't make a lick of difference. Don't waste your time .

Yes and no, every sorority here has a different process of picking girls to cone back. Girls who are legacies and/or have leters of rec from a sister of the chapter HERE are given a double take but honestly, most girls including myself did not have any so it may not matter.
