I'm not sure about panhellenic sororities, but rush for UCFS sororities will begin in about two week and is very informal and casual! There are also NPHC sororities as an alternative

for panhellenic sororities you would have to participate in formal recruitment this semester (which is going on right now), but you can participate in COB/Informal recruitment next fall. That process is much more laid back, but you have to be invited to the recruitment events by a sorority member. Not all panhel sororities participate in COB either so that's something to think about if you have a specific sorority in mind.

A bunch of sororities are doing informal or COB recruitment this spring! If you know any sisters, ask them what events they’re holding or check out any social media posts they may have put up. If you don’t know anyone in a chapter super well but you want to learn more about them and get to know them you could reach out to the membership chair, they usually have some contact info listed on the chapter’s website or something. It’s a lot less grueling than formal and you get to know the sisters in a more laid back setting, so I’d highly recommend it!

Saw this posted by a KKG: our recruitment chairs email is emilyn15@vt.edu and if you email her she'll be more than happy to give you more info about informal!

They are probably some of the nicest, most laid back girls you will ever meet!
