genuine sororities

My little sister was just accepted into VT today, and I have been suggesting that she go out for sorority recruitment since I joined a sorority on my campus, and fell in love with it. She's already ready to go in and see who she likes, but I wanted to get opinions on what sororities are seen as the more genuine sororities. Pushing aside looks and popularity, which sororities are see to have strong sisterhoods? I don't need bashing and negatives of other sororities, I just want to know who are genuine sisterhoods.

I would say that AXO, ZTA, ADPI, and KKG have great sisterhoods. I'm sure others do as well, but I know the girls in these sororities tend to value sisterhood pretty highly.

She'll be going to VT in the fall of 2018, but I'm not sure if she will be going through it the first semester or later.

it's hard to judge a sisterhood that you aren't a part of, and you'll always find your solid friend group / close friends when you join. you'll find genuine girls in any sorority!

No matter what, she will be able to find genuine girls in all sororities. As much as people think that each sorority is cookie cutter- it's far from that. Don't worry about it! She will find her home and her people!
