rushing
by: ConfusedHey guys I'm confused about the rushing system at tech? Do you guys rush in the fall of freshman year usually or in the spring?

Freshman can't do informal rush, so they do it at the beginning of second semester. Informal rush is in the fall, and usually the girls who go to the informal rush events have a friend in the sorority. It's usually just ice cream or dinner with the sisters, sooo much easier than regular rush.

Freshmen can't do informal rush, so it's not open to them. Freshmen rush in the spring, right before 2nd semester starts. Informal rush is only open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors, though I have never heard of a senior rush before. Informal rush is basically only a few girls, and you have to know someone in it, because they invite you to events. You can't just show up to them, it's more personal but not many girls are chosen because big rush is in the spring and they don't need many girls to fill quota.
