where to rush?

I'm going to be a freshmen at vt next year and I wanted to know what are some of the frats I should consider rushing? Im gonna go to the showcase next semester first but I wanted to get an idea here too. Currently looking at ATO. Thoughts?

ato is mid at best. Just go to the showcase and see what you're feeling after that. If ato is who you like then rush them. Don't worry about rankings or what other people think

Seriously consider the kind of guy you are and where you wanna be and browse through the site for feedback. Although rankings don't matter to a degree, the discussion form on this site is fairly accurate and can help you decide where to look. Some ideas though
Top: pike, sig chi, fiji
Upper mid: pi kapp, tke, beta
Middle: ato, theta chi, phi sig
Lower: dke, alpha sig, sigma nu

go to the ifc showcase and talk to as many people as you can. the ones that stand out, get their info & attend rush. pick like a top 5 and go from there. don't rush based on what you read on here, it's a lot of drama (fun drama) but everyone gets something different out of each organization
