2018 sorority rush

Every year more girls rush.. it may help to have another house but it will still be very competitive

yes, it will be number wise! the number of PNMs rushing is higher, so there's more girls to be compared to. Also, because of the new sorority, sororities will have a lower quota number. don't worry, because a lot of girls do drop naturally in the first couple days!

it'll prob be the same even with a new house bc the freshman class next year is supposed to be huge

I only know of very few girls that just outright didn't get a bid. Most who didn't end up with a house dropped somewhere in the process, and several of those girls ended up joining theta and are very happy there! I know it sounds like some cheesy cliché but seriously just be yourself. These girls can see when you're trying to be something you're not, and they can see when you're comfortable and your personality will fit well in a house. Don't get caught up in that "one house" you think you want, because while where you end up might surprise you, it'll be a good fit.

The class of 2021 is HUGE so statistically that means more girls than ever will rush. This means each sorority's quota for new members will increase (so the total amount of girls accepted into to sororities overall will increase). Don't worry so much about the statistics though, it's more about what you say and how you present yourself! Good luck!
