gpa

My GPA is a 2.9. Will I get dropped from alot of houses or is that steady enough for most and gives me a good chance?

I'd say it depends on your major. If you're an engineer it would be more of an issue than anything else (since not all chapters take engineers) but a 2.9 is pretty solid so you should be fine

Why would houses not take engineering majors?

Because it causes a gpa risk. Engineers don't have as high of gpas as like comm majors, so it brings the chapter down.

i think it gives you a good chance but not necessarily a great chance. you'll probably make it through open house at most of the houses, but when it comes down to them being town between you or another girl, theyll choose another girl if she has a higher gpa.
