Definitely agree with the above commenter. My rho gamma group went from like 25 to 15 by bid day. Lots of girls I was on the bus with didn't get back the "one" sorority they really wanted and just dropped out of the entire process. I would really encourage you to keep an open mind when entering into the different houses. If on bid day you're not super happy with who you got, I would urge you to give it a couple of weeks and try to connect with people. If you still hate it, then drop. But don't write a sorority off during the actual recruitment process!

Lots of girls also drop out in the middle of the process, so its not that only 800 could be taken, but that only 800 end up following through. Also remember that there is a new sorority coming which will serve as another option for many girls!
