So the GPA taken into consideration during rush is the pnm's first semester GPA, correct?

That is correct. Most sororities don't really take GPA into consideration when voting on you except if you are below the minimum GPA which I believe is a 2.5 and may be higher for some sororities.

Honestly, it sucks. I was a multiple legacy for a chapter I really wanted, and their policy is they have to take legacies unless it's a gpa problem. I was below their minimum so I got dropped from everyone but 2 after the first round. It was really low. Like really low.

PNM's, get your GPA to be the highest it can be the first semester so you don't have to worry about being dropped! If your GPA is below a 2.5 you will most likely be dropped from all but one or two sororities in the first round. I know a lot of people who that happened to. Study hard so you can have a successful recruitment!

DO NOT GET BAD GRADES ITLL RUIN YOUR LIFE. STILL RECOVERING. You will 100% get dropped from all but two sororities if you do not have the minimum gpa requirement.
