sorority rush
by: hokiegalI am a rising sophomore at tech and I did formal rush this past spring. It didn't work out for me but I still really want to be in a sorority. What sororities are doing informal this fall? Also, some of my favorite houses dropped me the first and second days so is it worth doing informal for any of them?

Regardless of the sorority, you have to be invited to informal. None of their events are just open to the public.

Informal is a little different than formal and most chapters don't know if they're going to do it/how many they will take! For informal, you are invited to participate in a chapter's recruitment. Email recruitment chairs in the fall (on Panhellenic website somewhere) and let the chapters you think you may like that you are interested in their informal recruitment if they host one.
