Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at Virginia Tech - VT 1.0 From what I was told by someone that works in Resident Life is that the house is own by VT and that the Sig Ep Alumni donated a certain amount of $$$ for the construction cost. That is why resident Life is turning the house into a "Theme House" for GDI's, instead of leasing it to another Greek Organization. Still, Sig Ep at VT has had a long history of issues and problems within their brotherhood. Maybe this was a blessing they got shut down.

From what I was told by someone that works in Resident Life is that the house is own by VT and that the Sig Ep Alumni donated a certain amount of $$$ for the construction cost. That is why resident Life is turning the house into a "Theme House" for GDI's, instead of leasing it to another Greek Organization. Still, Sig Ep at VT has had a long history of issues and problems within their brotherhood. Maybe this was a blessing they got shut down.

Who knows how much cash actually came through or if donors will back out now. Also, perhaps some of the 2M share was a mortgage of some sort against the business plan/rental income. A month ago Sig Ep had two houses. Now they have none.
