These are really nice guys, but if you're looking to party it's not the place to be. Drinks are about 50% sugar and the scene doesn't tend to liven up very much. They have definitely grown in brothers over the past few years, but the small house and general weirdness of the brothers (a lot of Medieval Society and Quidditch Club members) keep them on the bottom of the totem pole. If you want a quiet place to play video games this is a good place, but anything more and it's not a good fit.

Phi Tau is not the best looking or most popular group of guys on campus, and over the past few years their partying has toned down somewhat. However, the brothers there are obviously very tight with one another and accepting of different people. A lot of them have an offbeat sense of humor, but if you jive with them it's tough to find a nicer group to hang out with. Their registered parties make it easy to socialize with your friends and find a beverage, though a lot of weekends will be quiet.

These are great guys to hang around with, no two ways about it. They're a pretty chill group of dudes who take their academics and their philanthropies seriously. That said, they seem to have dropped off in their campus involvement over the last few years. Time was when you couldn't go to any activity without seeing a few FIJI shirts there. Now they tend to skip a lot. Plus, their parties tend to run low on beverages pretty early in the night. Get there before 11:30 if you want to find a drink.

They have a really nice house and their parties make it easy to find booze. The organization is pretty diverse and their parties are an okay time, but it's not the kind of place I would want to join just because a lot of the brothers there are virtual strangers to each other.

Lambda is a great group of fun guys to hang out with. They don't get out as much on campus (with the exception of IMs and other house parties) as some of the other fraternities, but heading over to their house for a party is always a blast. They are probably most in tune withe the "frat" image (Sperries, croakies, bow ties, etc.), but they own it. They definitely know how to throw down.

One of the only houses I actually like on campus. They're definitely pretty popular, but it seems like they're starting to go downhill.

A lot of the Phi Mu girls I know are people who never thought they would be joining a sorority, so it says a lot about their sisterhood that they draw in so many different kinds of people. They aren't the hottest girls on campus, but I've never known one to think they were too good for a conversation and they tend to spread around socially more than the other sororities who tend to bunch up at one house. You'll see Phi Mus all over campus.
